Almost all the more 'heavy' stuff I would like to blog about has been snapped up by none other than Alvin Lim's The Thinker.
The dude has been a friend of mine for a good 7 years now (we met in college). Sad to say that as of this posting, I have not met him for a about 2.5 years now. From his blog, I dare say that he has changed - more resolved and a deeper thinker (or is it philosopher?)

The Thinker offers an ever growing nuggets of wisdom and common sense. It is a worthwhile read with the author's emotion and commentaries dotting the landscape of any page. His book reviews are more like book summaries so if you the type who do not consider yourself a 'reader' then you can capitalize on his effort. Heck, I do!
The Thinker is also a home to numerous management and professional self enrichment postings which all of them are worth the read. All of them are timely and well summarized.

Alvin's a better thinker than me just by a quick glance at his postings under the 'Thoughts' label/tag. Reading his publicized thoughts are revealing and fun. Comparing mine with this...I think I better start running to catch-up.

RSS Reader - Google Reader

Recently i am really into RSS. It all started as part of my 2007 goals to 'consolidate and interoperate my digital life'.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. Wikipedia defines RSS as 'a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or podcasts'.
To read RSS, I recommend Google Reader. It is online and that means it is available everywhere you go...with the connection to the Internet of cause.

I just love the feel that I can get to know a news 2 minutes after it is published! Ain't that cool? News junkies will love RSS.

I love Google! Apart from coming out with a cool name for a search engine, they also come out with a bunch of words for the dictionary of the 21st century. The word 'google' is already a noun and a verb.
The argument can go about him being the first US president in the new century...a century where information is so readily available. Then again, his political affairs are not one that I favor as well.
Anyway, let's leave this political dude and my reviews on him to another date. What really happened is that George W. Bush has been googlebombed! Needless to say, George W. Bush ain't the most celebrated figure in the Internet.
As a side note, George W. Bush has some resemblance to a chimp.
